For each of the two articles that were approved in Parts 1 and 2 of this assignment:

First, include the CORRECT citation (in ASA format) of the article. Following the citation: In a sentence or two for each question, provide the following information about the research. DO NOT QUOTE the abstract or article. Use your own words. How would YOU explain this to someone who has not read the article? You do not need to write in paragraph form. You may simply list your answers. Include the page number(s) where you found the answers:
1. Research Question/Problem Addressed. What is the author trying to figure
out/understand/investigate? In other words, what is the topic of the article?

2. Research Methods. Did they use qualitative or quantitative methods? How did the
researchers gather the information on which the conclusions are based? For example,
did they conduct a survey? Do interviews? Who did they survey or interview? How many
people? Did they use data that someone else had already collected (like from the
Census or a large survey database?) and then statistically analyze it? Did they perform a
content analysis (of some kind of media, for example)? Did they use existing data (the
Census? Someone else’s survey?) Or did they conduct a survey and then crunch the
numbers? OR something else? USE YOUR OWN WORDS. Don’t just quote the author.
You need to understand what the methods are. You don’t have to be able to really
explain them (this is often very complicated), but you need to be able identify whether
they are qualitative or quantitative, where the reseOcarchers got the information, and
how they analyzed it.

3. Major findings/results. What does the researcher find? What are the conclusions?
What knowledge does this research give us?
