Theory

The job satisfaction theory of Herzberg’s that is also
known as “Two-Factor Theory” states that there are some factors that cause dissatisfaction
and some factors causes’ satisfaction.
In the context of my proposed solution, it is quite valuable that the
selected theory also supports the view of the proposed solution. This is
because that the selected theory describes that if the employees are not happy
or not satisfied then he or she could not be able to perform his or her
responsibilities effectively (McCormick & Wardrope, 2010). Hence, there is
a need for complete participation of an organization that would help the
employees. Employee’s satisfaction or job satisfaction has been defined by this
theory in a different ways. The researcher also describes that the pressure of
performance or workload to employees are also demotivating factors that
influence the performance of employees in a negative manner (McCormick &
Wardrope, 2010). This theory also focuses over the effective relationship
between job responsibilities and satisfaction of employees. Therefore, this
theory is selected to favor the proposed solution because it mostly depicts the
same thing that is faced by the nurses in the healthcare industry.

Hence, I will incorporate this theory into the products
as a tool to analyze the satisfaction level of nurses and the distribution of
role and responsibilities and their impacts over the performance of them. On
the other hand, this theory will also incorporate with the existing policies of
organization to make improvement in the satisfaction level of employees by
providing new benefits to employees that would also help the organization to
face the lack of nurses and its negative impacts over the quality of caring
services.
